Nestled on the banks of the Arkansas River, Wichita offers year-round outdoor enthusiasts many parks and opportunities to enjoy the great outdoors, including Riverside Park, College Hill Park, and Mc Adam's Park, and don't forget the Sedgwick County Zoo, the largest zoo in Kansas(!) all this with a climate that showcases all four seasons in all of nature's grandeur.  For those that enjoy festivals there is the large Arkansas River festival, the Wichita Asian festivals, the Renaissance Festival, the Tallgrass film festival, celebrating different traditions and cultures throughout the year.
